I have two Google Drives: a personal one and a "professional" one. The first one is filled with some of the worst, most embarrassing stories you will (n)ever read, all of them unfinished. The second one is currently being used for college assignments, but when I graduate it will be used for "real world" endeavors. Probably boring stuff like resume templates and various cover letters. The one thing both Drives have in common is that I have stories and interests to share, and I can't do that from either one.
So here I am. Starting a blog. Doing something that I've wanted to do for a long time; an idea that has been floating around in the back of my mind since my freshman year of high school when I took a class on website creation. Am I nervous? Well, either my hands are shaking from the caffeine I foolishly consumed earlier, or I'm going to lie to save face and say no, I'm not nervous at all.
I've always been hesitant, even adamant, to share my work with others. At the time I'm writing this, I'm about to be 21 years old, and I know it's time to kick that bad habit to the curb. I have thoughts and stories to share, I just need to take that last big step. Who knows, maybe something will come of this blog and I'll end up surrounded by enormous piles of money like Flynn Rider always dreamed of.
I'm doing this for myself, but I hope that you, the person reading this, stick around for the ride. I have so many ideas and interests to talk about: books, music, faith, adventures, and so much more. I hope you find something here that interests you too.
P.S.: Middle school Libby's thoughts and musings will never see the light of day. You're safe, I promise.
